Although Yale’s second place finish in the varsity race ended Yale’s three-year win streak in the Goldthwait Cup, second place was good enough to seal the win in the inaugural competition for the Vogel Cup, awarded to the team with HYP five-boat supremacy. Harvard won the Goldthwait Cup for the first time since 1997. Yale won the 1F, 3V , and 2F races, and came in second in the 2V race. Final point totals in the Vogel Cup were Yale 32, Harvard 29, Princeton 23. Results here.
