Tom Toro ‘04, a two-year varsity member who rowed at seven seat in the 2002 Sprints and National Champion eight, was elected to lead the Yale lightweight crew in 2003 - 2004. Tom is a native of California, graduating from El Cerrito High School in 2000. Primarily a sculler for Oakland Strokes, he did not have much sweep experience before coming to Yale. Tom is majoring in film studies, and is the son of Andy and Jane Toro.
